Blind Side on Flickr.
Via Flickr:
I am legally blind in this eye, I have been this way all my life. I have to wonder if not being able to see in stereo (yeah, 3D movies are total loss on me) has shaped the way view the world through my camera.
I recently noticed that the diopter on my camera is at the very edge and will not adjust anymore as my vision (in my “good” eye) changes. If you haven’t experienced it, pressing your glasses against the viewfinder is less than optimal in so many ways. I have thought about contacts, but given my nature I would lose them or forget to take them out etc .. I will take pictures for as long as I can, and then I think the only option is surgery.
Anyone out there have any experience with Lasik? How did it work out for you? Seriously, would love to hear about it.

Delusion on Flickr.
A delusion is a belief held with absolute conviction despite superior evidence.[
Unlike hallucinations, delusions are always pathological. As a pathology, it is distinct from a belief based on false or incomplete information, dogma, poor memory, illusion, or other effects of perception.

Broken on Flickr.
Feeling uneasy today. No rhyme or reason to it, just a tightness in my chest. I have taken the last 6 days off from any type of work and tomorrow morning at 9:30, I go back to my regularly scheduled routine.
I did play Skyrim more than I care to admit the last 5 days. I am a level 7 and believe I am just scratching the surface :)

Shot by a friend in Amsterdam. Reminds me of Little Drop Of Poison by Tom Waits.

Glimmer on Flickr.
It was raining and neither of us were up to going out last night. Since Jessa was already dressed and made up - I hung a piece of charcoal back drop paper on the wall and we shot for about an hour.
Lucky for me I had the 70 - 200 mm F /2.8 at the house for a fashion show we are shooting tonight. I nearly had to leave the apartment to get her in the frame because the lens was so long, I was sitting on the back of the furniture in the living room and she was pressed against the back wall of our “mediation room” (also known as 18% Gray Studios).
I need to get my act together for tonight… I hope you are having a fantastic weekend :)
