This is one of my best friends and has been for well over a decade. As one of the most photogenic people I have ever met, she appears throughout my work over the last 12 years.
When I first saw this woman (at a Tower records in the mid 90’s) I knew that she was going to be an important part of my life - to be honest, I had no idea just how much of the fabric I call life she would become woven into.
From the newly minted industrial section of tower records in 1996 through weddings, funerals, car accidents, climate change, smoking going out of favor in the states, 4 career changes and nearly 100,000 shutter clicks - she’s still right here.
Friends like her are 1 in a million. I think everyone should have one :).

A new perspective on Flickr.

Using a new set of tools as of this week. A 5D Mark II, Photoshop 6 and Lightroom 4. The camera definitely has its own personality and Photoshop 6 has a new flavor to it as well. I havn’t decided how I feel about this image yet, but want to keep track of any changes in the end product of my images with the assortment of creative devices.
